Welcome to Seedance 2.0, a multimodal AI video generation platform developed by ByteDance. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Seedance 2.0 platform, including our website, applications, APIs, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Seedance 2.0, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Seedance 2.0 provides AI-powered video generation services, including but not limited to:

• Text-to-Video Generation: Create videos from text prompts and descriptions
• Image-to-Video Generation: Animate still images into dynamic videos
• Video-to-Video Transformation: Transform and enhance existing videos
• Universal Reference System: Use multiple reference inputs (images, videos, audio) for consistent generation
• Audio Generation: Built-in AI audio and music generation
• Video Editing: Extension, inpainting, and editing of generated content

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You may register using email or third-party authentication providers.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Seedance 2.0. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Input Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or input into Seedance 2.0 (prompts, images, videos, audio files, etc.). By submitting content, you grant Seedance 2.0 a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of generating your requested outputs.

4.2 Generated Content Ownership

Subject to these Terms and your subscription plan:

• Free Tier: Generated content may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. Seedance 2.0 retains certain rights to use free-tier outputs for promotional purposes.
• Paid Subscriptions: You receive full commercial rights to generated content, subject to applicable laws and content policies.

4.3 Seedance 2.0 Intellectual Property

All technology, algorithms, AI models, software, trademarks, logos, and platform infrastructure remain the exclusive property of Seedance 2.0 and ByteDance. You do not acquire any ownership rights to our underlying technology.

4.4 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding Seedance 2.0 may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use Seedance 2.0 for lawful purposes including:

• Creating original video content for personal or commercial use
• Marketing, advertising, and promotional materials
• Educational and entertainment content
• Artistic and creative expression

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use Seedance 2.0 to:

Illegal Content

• Generate content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Create content depicting illegal activities

Harmful Content

• Generate violent, gory, or excessively disturbing content
• Create content promoting self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities
• Produce content depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors
• Generate non-consensual intimate imagery of real individuals

Deceptive Content

• Create deepfakes intended to deceive, defraud, or harm individuals
• Generate misinformation or disinformation content
• Impersonate real individuals without their consent for malicious purposes

Infringing Content

• Generate content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Reproduce copyrighted characters, logos, or protected content without authorization

Platform Abuse

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
• Use automated systems to abuse, overload, or circumvent usage limits
• Share account credentials or resell access to Seedance 2.0
• Interfere with the security or integrity of our systems

5.3 Content Moderation

Seedance 2.0 employs automated and human review to detect and remove prohibited content. We reserve the right to:

• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• Report illegal content to appropriate authorities

6. Subscription Plans and Payments

6.1 Plans and Pricing

Seedance 2.0 offers various subscription tiers:

• Free: Limited generations with basic features
• Starter: Entry-level paid plan with additional credits
• Pro: Enhanced features and higher usage limits
• Enterprise: Custom solutions for organizations

6.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
• Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

6.3 Refunds

• All purchases are generally non-refundable
• Refund requests for technical issues will be evaluated case-by-case
• Unused credits do not carry over (unless specified in your plan)

6.4 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Access continues until the end of your current billing period
• No prorated refunds for early cancellation

7. Service Availability and Limitations

7.1 Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

7.2 Generation Quality

AI-generated outputs may vary in quality, accuracy, and consistency. We do not guarantee that generated content will meet all your expectations or requirements.

7.3 Usage Limits

Your subscription plan includes specific generation limits. Exceeding limits may result in temporary restrictions or require plan upgrades.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of generated content

You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected results.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Seedance 2.0 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for damages arising from your generated content or its use

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Seedance 2.0, ByteDance, and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content you create or upload
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

11.2 By Seedance 2.0

We may suspend or terminate your access:

• For violation of these Terms
• For illegal or harmful activities
• For extended periods of inactivity
• For any reason with reasonable notice

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ends immediately
• Your generated content may be deleted after a grace period
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms on our website
• Sending email notification
• Displaying in-app notices

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes
